In the times of hypocrisy, lies and deceit.. 

when there is a loss of trust and self 

and hate blooms like an early morning bud- 

Has love lost its place? 

You can run on the streets 

with fire in your eyes.. 

Would you care to pause for a moment 

and think about the people you left behind! 

In the high echelons of society,

you sing paeans of equality and justice.

But then, irrespective of cast, creed or colour, 

Will you stick to your words with vigour? 

It only takes a strong will to love,

to denounce the wrong and embrace the right,

doesn’t matter whether you succeed or not, 

for you would have truth…
